The Convent of the Jacobins and its church were located on the site of Jacobins School. At the end of the 14th century, King Charles V gave a piece of the Holy Cross from the Sainte Chapelle in Paris to the brothers of the convent. Transformed into barracks in the middle of the 18th century, the church and its surrounding buildings were probably destroyed during the revolution.
